The furniture is already in the flat, but it's still in the box because assembling it is a pain, you're missing the tools, or the instructions make no sense. I come round, build it properly, and take the cardboard away if you want. And you know the price before I start.
The price, by size
I don't charge by the hour, so you don't have to watch the clock while I work. The price goes by the size of the piece:
- Small — bedside table, chair, shelf unit €20 – 25
- Medium — chest of drawers, 2-door wardrobe €35 – 45
- Large or complex — 3-door wardrobe, ottoman bed €60 – 80
Tell me what it is, or send me the link or a photo of the box, and I'll confirm the exact price before I set off. Several pieces in one visit works out cheaper.
Built properly, not just built
I follow the instructions, level it, tighten everything, and if the piece needs it — tall wardrobes, shelving — I anchor it to the wall for safety, with the right fixing for brick, partition or plasterboard. I collect the leftover screws and, if you like, take the cardboard with me.
Where I work
I'm based in Ontinyent — also written Onteniente in Spanish, it's the same town — and I cover the whole Vall d'Albaida: Albaida, Bocairent, Agullent, Aielo de Malferit, l'Olleria, Benigànim and the villages around them. Same price everywhere: I don't charge a call-out fee.
