Do you speak English?
Yes. I work in Spanish and Valencian day to day, but I get by fine in English on the phone and in writing. If it's easier, send me a WhatsApp — that way nothing gets lost.
Are these prices really fixed?
Yes. The number you see is the labour you pay for that job. If I arrive and your case isn't the standard one — a new light point is needed, the ceiling is plasterboard, the wall won't hold the TV — I tell you before I start and we agree on it. There are no surprises on the invoice.
Do I need to buy the materials?
The parts you'd choose yourself — the ceiling fan, the TV bracket, the tap, the furniture — you buy. Small consumables like plugs, screws and blind tape are included in the price. If you'd rather I bring a part, I charge you what the shop charged me, with nothing on top.
Do you issue electrical certificates?
No, and it's worth knowing why. My work is everyday household electrics: sockets, switches, light points, lamps, spotlights and ordinary faults. A boletín, an installation certificate (CIE), a new supply or a power upgrade must be signed by a registered installer — that's a different trade. If that's what you need, I'll tell you straight away and point you the right way.
Is Onteniente the same as Ontinyent?
Yes, same town. Ontinyent is the official Valencian name and Onteniente is the Spanish spelling. You'll see both on signs, in adverts and on Google. It's where I'm based, so I'm there every day.
